IMAP settings
- Server
- mail.yourdomain.ro, or the server hostname your host gives you
- Port
- 993 (SSL/TLS)
- Username
- the full address
- Password
- the mailbox password
Find the settings
- 1Sign in to DirectAdmin and open E-Mail Manager → E-Mail Accounts to confirm the address exists and reset its password if needed.
- 2Your host’s welcome email or help pages list the incoming mail server. If you can’t find it, type the address in the wizard: autodetect tries
mail.,imap.and the domain itself.
Certificate warnings
If the certificate is for the server hostname, the wizard offers to switch to it. That is the right fix in almost every case.
